The Crypto market is in a bull run with Bitcoin breaking above the $16,000 mark after 3 years and some big Publicly traded companies pumping millions into it.
Now, the banks are following suite. Acc. to a report by Prime Press, Belarusbank, the largest bank in Belarus and company “White Bird” will allow user to Buy and Sell Cryptocurrencies using Visa Payment Cards.
As of now this service will only be provided to the citizens of Republic of Belarus and Russian Federation. It is reported that bank will expand the list of countries as well as the Cryptocurrency pairs in near future.
This is a huge step forward by the largest bank in Belarus and comes around 2 years after they first announced their plans to launch a Crypto Exchange back in early 2019.
Although, it should not come as a surprise to anybody considering the legal Crypto status in the country ever since 2017.
